Are You Lucky?

Luck can be measured in many ways. For some, it is measured in the amount of money they got on their bank account. Or by whether they are married or not. Whether they have children or not, or by if they had a happy childhood with good parents or not.

But luck can be so many things; it’s all a matter of having the right focus and the right perspective. I’ve made some statements about luck, and you cn check and see how they resonate with your own life, and you may see your life in a new lucky perspective.

I am lucky because I have water from the tap, and I don’t have to walk miles to get water and carry it all the way home, and boil it before I’m able to drink it.

I am lucky because I have food in the fridge to eat, and I don’t have to starve every day and go through trash cans to get something to eat.

I am lucky because I have at least one person who loves me and cares for me. Whether it is a mother, father, grandparent, friend, a sibling, a uncle, aunt, cousin or a colleague, neighbor. I’m very lucky if I have more than one person that cares about me and that I can talk to.

I am lucky because I have eyes to see, ears to hear, a mouth to speak with, legs to walk with and a body to move.

I am lucky because I have a roof over my head, and a bed to sleep in.

I am lucky because I have access to technology like computer, internet, television and phone.

I am lucky because I have God The Most High by my side, giving me strength, helping me grow, guiding me towards the right path. Forgiving me for my sins and giving me mercy and grace even though I’ve sinned against Him and don’t deserve it.

It’s all about having the right perspective. Instead of being mad because you have to stay in traffic on your way home from work, be happy that you have a car at all.

Instead of being mad because you don’t have a car and have to walk or use public transportation, be happy that you have public transportation and are able to walk and that you have shoes to wear.

If you have to walk barefoot, be grateful for that you have legs to walk with.

No matter what your situation is the KEY is to be grateful no matter what, and magically you’ll start to see an increase in the things you feel you lack.

If you focus on what you have, you will have more. And if you focus on what you lack, you will lack more. You’ll attract what you focus on.

So keep your focus right and your perspective on the positive things in your life.

Always Be Grateful.
